Everyday Nutrition health tea, protein shake shop opens in Pensacola
Whatever your health and fitness goals may be, Everyday Nutrition on Bayou Boulevard is now open and ready to serve as the sidekick to any midtown Pensacola resident looking for a nutrition boost.
Replacing the Sweet Rolls ice cream shop at 4421 Bayou Blvd. is Everyday Nutrition, a health tea and protein shake shop launched by Pensacola resident Amy Day, who refers to her concept as a healthy alternative to fast food.
“We’re just really a friendly place that’s focused on nutrition,” Day said Tuesday morning, in the middle of a late-morning rush. “That’s it.”
A group of eight friends, still perspiring after their workout at Burn Boot Camp on Plantation Road, made their way to Everyday Nutrition on Tuesday, the store’s second day in business.
Lynn Lepley was a regular at the Pace nutrition shop where Day worked prior to making her own small business dream come true, so Lepley wanted to show some support to someone she trusts.

“All these girls are new to this, so I brought them in to try it out and try a post-workout meal,” Lepley said. “They have really good teas if you want some energy before or after you work out, but the main thing we’re doing is getting our shake in as a meal replacement right after the workout.”
Everyday Nutrition’s menu is comprised of energy teas (with tea bombs and enhancers), and shakes featuring a whopping 40 flavors to choose from, including fruity flavors like Blueberry Muffin, Banana Bread and Strawberry Shortcake, and others like Lemon Icebox, Cinnamon Roll, Almond Joy and Thin Mint.
There’s also a five-flavor kid’s smoothie menu and shake enhancer options for that extra shot of protein, fiber or probiotics.
“We serve energy teas that are going to help with mental clarity and focus, and then our meal replacement smoothies,” Day explained. “Each one has 24 grams of protein and 200 calories. They’re designed to keep the average person full for two to four hours.”
Lepley picked up a Snicker’s shake to serve as her post-boot camp brunch.
“Some of the girls are adding a fat burner to it, which is also great for your post-workout,” she said.
The energy teas are sugar-free at Everyday Nutrition, which also serves drinkable aloe for gut and digestive health.
Day said that opening her shop near Cordova Mall and the most densely populated shopping strips in Pensacola was no coincidence.
“There’s a lot of people that live in this area and there wasn’t anyone doing what I do,” she said. “We serve healthy fast food, that’s what we do. And I feel like in the area, there’s a hole in the market for it.”
Everyday Nutrition is open weekdays from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
