Education – 77-year-old Kolkata woman completes graduation in counselling

The graduation ceremony of Caring Minds, Institute of Psychological Wellness, was held on Tuesday afternoon.

Diplomas and certificates for Diploma in Psychological Counselling (next batch) and Certificate Training course in Psychotherapy (third batch) were offered to the candidates.

Recognised by Jadavpur College, these courses available by the educational wing of Caring Minds, Institute of Psychological Wellbeing, go over a wide variety of matters that not only enhance a students’ knowledge of self and the people close to them but also develops a strong foundation for those who want to review psychology further.

The founder-director of Caring Minds, Minu Budhia, said the graduating batch not only consisted of college students hunting for a occupation, but also a 77-yr-previous woman who wished to total the training course for “personal growth”.

“I consider the pupils will make an impactful contribution to the neighborhood both as counsellors and as citizens. These classes are significant as each individual graduate provides us one particular stage closer to lowering the paucity of mental wellbeing gurus in the region,” reported Budhia.
