Kansas City law enforcement shot a black girl who was reportedly expecting multiple instances as they searched for a stolen auto on Friday.
Authorities say officers in two automobiles were pursuing up on a connect with about an armed carjacking just before 8pm on Friday, after dispatchers presented the officers with a description of the car and license plate.
The officers then apparently noticed the car or truck with two suspects inside of at the parking good deal of a Spouse and children Dollar shop at Sixth and Prospect Avenues in Kansas Metropolis, and approached it.
At that point, authorities say, the male driver fled northeast as two officers pursued, and 26-year-old Leonna Hale stepped out of the vehicle and allegedly instructed officers there was a gun in the car or truck.
Two officers proceeded to fireplace at Hale, authorities say, and she suffered serious accidents and was taken to a local hospital – exactly where she is reportedly in stable condition.

Missouri Highway Patrol spokesman Andy Bell reported a gun was identified in close proximity to the car, but would not confirm if Hale had the gun on her when the officers shot
