Minnetonka assistant fire chief passes away
The Metropolis of Minnetonka announced that Assistant Fire Main Jim Flanders died on Saturday.
MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnetonka Fire Division is mourning the sudden loss of life of a person of its top firefighters.
The Town of Minnetonka introduced on Sunday morning that Assistant Fire Chief Jim Flanders died on Saturday right after he was identified unresponsive at property. He died at a close by medical center after first responders observed him and tried everyday living-saving measures.
Minnetonka Fire Chief John Vance mentioned in the city’s push launch that losing a single of their brothers is devastating and his heart is damaged about the sudden death of Flanders.
“He was always at his submit encouraging our local community put together for and deal with emergencies,” Vance said.
Flanders also labored as Assistant Chief of Crisis Health-related Companies & Crisis Management, according to the town. He obtained the Spirit of Minnetonka award in 2021 right after his fellow metropolis personnel chosen him for his do the job and determination.
