Love Island star Georgia Harrison has stated that she will never date again as she continues to struggle with trusting people following previous relationships breakdowns.
The 27-year-old revealed that she began counselling in an attempt to overcome her dating troubles.
Georgia admitted to being on dating app Raya for over a year but insists she is still single and currently working on herself.
Despite Georgia saying she should be dating more at the age she is at; she has pledged to never date again.
Speaking to MailOnline, Georgia said: ‘I’m never dating again, I don’t date.
‘I genuinely think I’ve got a lot of issues; trust issues potentially, and I’ve started counselling for it.’
The reality TV star added: ‘I don’t date people enough, and it’s not normal at my age. I’m 27, and at my age I should be dating and connecting with people.’
Georgia revealed due to her dating hardships, it has been around one year since her last date.
‘I’d like to go to counselling more often, but it’s really expensive.
‘I go about once a month and it’s really broken the bank, it’s £70 [a session] – it’s not that expensive, but it feels like it is.’
Fortunately, Georgia confirmed that the counselling sessions have been helping her and have looked at how previous relationships have brought about negative thoughts.
Initially Georgia thought unlocking past memories could have brought a negative effect, but she had revealed that speaking to a professional has helped her see patterns about herself she didn’t know existed.
She said: ‘I’ve learnt why I go for men that won’t perhaps treat me the way that I deserve.
‘It’s basically an underlying thing, and there’s ways of dealing with it, so I feel like I’ve learnt a bit.’
Rumours surfaced last month that Georgia was pregnant with the baby of her friend Joshua Ritchie.
She took to social media to trick her followers into believing she was expecting with the former Love Islander, but quickly confirmed to fans it was a joke.
‘I’m obvs not pregnant we was just lolling ‘cause I held my belly for some reason in half the pics,’ she confirmed.
Georgia Harrison has become one of the most successful Love Islanders, after appearing in season three in 2017.
Since, she has appeared on a series of other reality TV shows including MTV’s Ex on The Beach and The Challenge.
